About the Grant

OneAmerica, Team Child, and the Discipline Coalition have set aside $125,000 for sub-grants to support community-driven work in South King County (including south Seattle, south of Seattle’s Ship Canal Bridge). A maximum of 20 grants can be awarded, to support projects for a 6-month duration between the months of September 2016 and March 2017. Funding amounts will range between $1,000 and $10,000 depending on project and proposal. Final decisions will be made by a Community Review Panel composed of youth and parents who are most impacted by issues of school discipline. See more details in the application below.

Deadlines

Groups have the option of applying with a written application or oral presentation. Requests for oral presentations must be submitted by Monday, August 15, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Written applications must be submitted by Monday, August 22, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
